China's conditions for tariff talks with the US

Bloomberg Network reported Thursday morning, citing a source, that the US administration led by Donald Trump is preparing to pressure countries in tariff talks to restrict trade with China.

The source, who was not named, told Bloomberg: "Washington is set to ask countries seeking tariff reductions to take steps to limit China's manufacturing power."
The report states: "Trump's senior advisers are considering asking other countries to impose tariffs on imports from countries with close ties to China."
Bloomberg reported, citing the source: "The US is asking its trading partners to refrain from absorbing surplus goods from China."
The network also outlined China's conditions before accepting negotiations with the Trump administration on tariffs and the trade war: "measures including refraining from making disparaging remarks, addressing concerns about sanctions and Taiwan, and appointing a trusted person for negotiations.
