Meta: The hub of spies for the Zionist regime

The Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar reported that since the beginning of the genocidal war by the Zionist regime against the people of Gaza, the true extent of this regime's influence in the world's media and technological structures has gradually been revealed. Among these, the company "Meta" has come under scrutiny as one of the most important media and platform arms on a global level; a company that appears to be a calm and clear lake of innovation and freedom of expression, but beneath its surface is filled with sediments and waste that occasionally surface and reveal the truth.
In recent years, and especially since the beginning of the savage attacks on Gaza in October 2023, numerous documents have been published showing that Meta, in direct collaboration with the security agencies of the Zionist regime, has engaged in filtering and removing content critical of this regime and supporting its official narrative. By systematically deleting posts from users supporting Palestine and enhancing algorithms to spread Zionist narratives, the company has effectively played the role of a full partner for Tel Aviv.
Now, a new report by American writer and analyst "Nita Behr," published on the Do Not Panic blog and subsequently republished by the research outlet "Grayzone," unveils even deeper dimensions of this complicity.
The report states that more than 100 former officers and spies from the army of the Zionist regime, including intelligence forces from Unit 8200, are currently employed at Meta.
One of the prominent figures in this infiltration is "Shira Anderson," the head of AI policy at Meta, who has a history of voluntary service in the army of the Zionist regime. She, a U.S. lawyer specializing in international law, joined the army in 2009 through a program called "Garin Tsabar," which allows non-Israeli Jews to serve in this regime's army. Before that, Anderson worked at a research center run by one of the former commanders of the occupying regime's army and later was appointed as a legal assistant to the president of this regime's Supreme Court.
The Supreme Court of the Zionist regime, which many human rights organizations accuse of legitimizing war crimes, recently rejected petitions for the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza, implicitly authorizing the use of famine and starvation as tools of war.
Anderson's role at Meta is highly significant. She is responsible for formulating policies and legal guidelines regarding artificial intelligence and public interactions on a global scale. Alongside her, more than a hundred other Meta employees with similar backgrounds in Unit 8200 or other branches of the occupying regime's army are active. Half of these individuals are based in Meta's Tel Aviv office, raising deep concerns about the Zionist regime's access to user data from these platforms worldwide.
Among the names mentioned in this report are: Nadav Bendik, Oriel Singer, Oshri Halimi, Shili Shinen, Ori Patish, Efrat Ravid, Maya Beshler, and a data engineer named Doron Weinrob. Weinrob, who works at Meta's Madrid office, has admitted that during his three years of service in Unit 8200, he developed a solution for big data analysis that reduced human decision-making time from days to hours; an algorithm aligned with the well-known artificial intelligence system called "Lavender," which was directly used in automated mass killings of Palestinians.
On the other hand, the revelation of some of these individuals joining Meta's AI teams immediately after their military service has raised many doubts. For example, "Maki Rothschild," who is now the vice president of product management at Meta's headquarters in Silicon Valley, spent three years during the Second Intifada as the commander of the "Moran" missile unit in the Israeli army. This unit was responsible for long-range missile attacks on Palestinian areas.
The investigation also points to the intelligence infiltration of the Zionist regime's army into WhatsApp groups, where Unit 8200, by joining groups and merely identifying one suspected Hamas member, has marked all members for assassination. This unprecedented method of intelligence exploitation has turned WhatsApp from a communication tool into a deadly trap for resistance activists.
Another part of the report mentions Meta's collaboration with major U.S. arms industry companies such as Lockheed Martin, Palantir, and Anduril. These collaborations, particularly in the fields of artificial intelligence and national security, have intensified since the beginning of Donald Trump's second term. The report's authors have warned that the dominance of technology cartels over the power structure in the new U.S. government, especially with unlimited support for the Zionist regime, has paved the way for the military exploitation of global user data.
Tools such as Dataminr and companies like Waze, founded by officers from Unit 8200, are also mentioned as intelligence arms of Tel Aviv in the world's digital infrastructure.
Based on these documents, Meta is not only a regional intelligence partner of the Zionist regime but has also become a global threat to freedom of information, user security, and human rights by providing technical and political platforms for Zionist narratives.
