According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, the ongoing Israeli assault is causing tens of thousands of children in Gaza to lose their parents, creating the largest orphan crisis in modern history.
Ahead of tomorrow's Palestinian Children's Day, the bureau said that after 534 days of Israeli attacks on the Strip, 39,384 children in Gaza have lost one or both of their parents. Approximately 17,000 of these children are left parentless and must face life without care or support.
The Israeli occupation army continues its attacks on civilians in Gaza, decimating the enclave and forcibly displacing its over two million residents.
