Israeli soldier commits suicide after 300 days of service

Channel 13 of the Israeli television reported that an army reservist committed suicide at one of the military bases of the regime.
The soldier had served in the army reserves for more than 300 days in the past year and a half.
Israeli media announced that the police have launched an investigation into the incident.
Suicides among Israeli soldiers have a long history. The Israeli newspaper "Haaretz" had previously announced in a report that 28 Israeli soldiers have committed suicide since the start of the war on Gaza, which is the highest number recorded since 2015.
Increasing psychological stress and internal crises among Israeli soldiers are considered one of the serious challenges facing the Israeli army.
The Israeli Ministry of Defense recently admitted that one in every two wounded soldiers who were treated in the rehabilitation department of the Ministry of War suffers from psychological problems and injuries.
