Ben-Gvir's unusual clash with Shin Bet chief

The Hebrew website added that the clash occurred after Ben-Gvir received a report from his advisers that the Shin Bet chief had ordered intelligence gathering on him.
The same source noted that upon receiving the report, Ben-Gvir angrily entered the meeting room and asked the Shin Bet chief, "Are you behind this?"
The Shin Bet chief responded by saying, "That's a lie. I never gave such an order. They constantly spread lies about me."
The Hebrew website reported that Ben-Gvir left the room and later, with documents he presented to the meeting participants, told Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu: “The Shin Bet chief did not do his job in Gaza, he is a liar and a criminal who should be imprisoned. He is spying on political leaders, gathering information and evidence, and trying to carry out a coup.”
Ma’ariv also quoted Ben-Gvir as saying about the regime’s dismissal of the attorney general: “The attorney general is seeking a constitutional crisis, and I do not think the Supreme Court will go down that path with him. I cannot believe that the Supreme Court will force us to cooperate with the Shin Bet chief and the attorney general, and Netanyahu does not want to work with them.”
Ben-Gvir also responded to the Shin Bet’s secret investigation, saying: “This is an earthquake, and now it is clear why the Shin Bet chief should not remain.”
Ben-Gvir added that he would not be satisfied with the dismissal of the Shin Bet chief, but that he should face criminal charges for attempted coup and “attempt to undermine democracy.”
Channel 12 of the Israeli television also reported that the tension between Ben-Gvir and Ronin Bar was so high that it escalated into a physical fight, and that Ben-Gvir attempted to strangle the Shin Bet chief after attacking him.
According to the report, the heads of the Mossad and the Israeli army headquarters personally separated them and prevented the fight from continuing.
