Trump revokes security protection for Biden's children

Donald Trump announced that former US President Joe Biden's children, Hunter Biden and Ashley Biden, will no longer have Secret Service protection.
Trump wrote in a post on the social network Truth: Please note that Hunter Biden will no longer have US Secret Service protection. Also, Ashley Biden, who was protected by 13 agents, has been removed from the Secret Service protection list.
Biden's children are the latest people to be revoked by Trump's Secret Service protection. The US Secret Service protects people who generally face security threats.
Trump had previously revoked protection for former Secretary of Defense Mark Esper, former National Security Advisor John Bolton, former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Dr. Anthony Fauci and former US envoy to Iran Brian Hook.
The Biden family has been criticized by Republicans for years, but Hunter Biden in particular has been repeatedly attacked by Republicans.
Meanwhile, Joe Biden announced in his final days in the White House that he had pardoned his son, Hunter Biden, who had been found guilty in three criminal cases.
He also issued a pardon for members of his family on his last day in office.
