Horrific conditions of the wounded in Gaza

Following the resumption of the brutal attacks of the Israeli army against civilians in the Gaza Strip since the early hours of this morning, medical sources in Gaza reported the critical condition of the wounded.
The director of Al-Moamedani Hospital announced that there are many cases of amputations among the wounded.
Dr. Muhammad Abu Salmiya, director of Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, also announced that every minute one wounded person loses his life due to lack of medical equipment and facilities.
He added: There are only four intensive care beds in the entire Gaza City and northern Gaza Strip, and we are deprived of the simplest health system facilities in these critical conditions. Even an organized and healthy health system cannot handle this number of wounded.
The Gaza medical official stressed: It is very difficult to reach the places bombed by the Zionist army to find the bodies of the victims. We hear the voices of people from under the rubble, but we cannot save them.
The director of Al-Shifa Hospital added that we are facing a severe shortage of medicine and medical equipment as a result of the ongoing war and the heavy siege of the Zionist enemy against Gaza. Medical teams can hardly treat the wounded, and we are facing a large and organized crime that the occupying regime committed this morning.
Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis, located in the southern Gaza Strip, also called on citizens to donate as much blood as they can.
According to Reuters, in Gaza hospitals, which have been out of service due to the pressure of the 15-month bombardment, the bodies of martyrs are piled up in piles.
The Palestine Red Crescent Society said its teams had transferred the bodies of 86 martyrs and 134 wounded to hospitals, while others were taken to hospitals in private vehicles.
Officials at Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis, Al-Aqsa in the central Gaza Strip, and Al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza City, all of which were heavily damaged in the fighting, said they had received a total of 86 bodies.
Palestinian officials also reported that 16 members of a family had been killed in Rafah in southern Gaza.
