Americans are concerned about Trump's economic policies

According to Reuters, the results, conducted by the news agency in cooperation with the Ipsos polling company, show that nearly 57 percent of Americans think that Trump is acting too erratic in his economic actions, including the aggressive tariff strategy that has worried the stock market.
Meanwhile, a third of the participants said that Trump's actions were not too erratic and unpredictable, and 11 percent were unsure or did not answer. But the noteworthy point of this poll is that one in three Republicans considered Trump's actions too erratic.
Finally, only 41 percent of voters said that Trump's economic policies would work in the future. Meanwhile, nearly 70 percent of respondents said that tariffs would make groceries and other common goods more expensive. Therefore, 61 percent of respondents in the survey emphasized that Trump’s top priority should be to curb price increases.
Reuters finally noted that since the US government’s policy of imposing tariffs on imported goods, even from friendly and allied countries such as Canada and Mexico, US markets have reacted strongly. In such a way that the S&P 500 index (the top stocks on the New York Stock Exchange) has lost more than $4 trillion in value so far.
