Hamas: A new round of ceasefire talks has begun
According to Sama News Agency, Hazem Qassem announced the news, adding that the Hamas movement is acting in a completely responsible and positive manner in these talks.
He pointed out that the US special envoy for prisoner issues, Adam Buhler, is also present in these talks, and continued: "We hope that this round of talks will make tangible progress towards the second stage, which will be a prelude to stopping the aggressions, the withdrawal of the occupiers from the Gaza Strip, and an agreement to exchange prisoners."
On the other hand, Abdul Latif Al-Qanua, another member of the Hamas movement, said that the Zionist regime did not adhere to the ceasefire agreement, which is contrary to the international will and the efforts of the mediators to consolidate the agreement and end the war.
He added that the Hamas movement showed flexibility and positive behavior throughout all stages of the talks in order to oblige the Zionist regime to agree and fulfill the demands of the Palestinian people.
The official Israeli television recently announced that the regime had reached an understanding with the Americans that Washington's negotiations with Hamas would be conducted in coordination with the Israeli regime.
Meanwhile, following the direct US negotiations with Hamas, the Israeli media quoted some Israeli officials as saying that if US President Donald Trump reaches an understanding with Hamas, it would be very difficult for Netanyahu to oppose it and the Americans would act on it.
