IAEA Director General: We want tangible engagement with Iran
On Monday, March 4, Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, told reporters on the sidelines of the IAEA Board of Governors meeting: We want tangible engagement with Iran; engagement that encompasses all aspects.
He said: The Iranian government must cooperate with us and what we need now are real and clear answers.
Grossi, stating that I have always tried to be constructive, continued: My visit to Iran showed that this country is seeking cooperation with the Agency.
The Director General of the IAEA stated: What we need is answers and constructive relations. He continued: Enough talk, we must move forward and achieve results. Grossi stated: We have always put ways before Iran for bilateral cooperation.
The Director General of the Atomic Energy Agency said: Since the previous trip to Iran, I have been in constant contact with Abbas Araghchi, we shared points, which is of course a natural issue and part of the dialogue that we have.
Stating that the US's concerns about the Iranian nuclear issue should not be ignored, he said: US officials have concerns about Iran.
Grossi, pointing out that we use official and unofficial channels to solve problems, said: We hope that we can solve problems through diplomacy.
