Orders from the Head of the Judiciary on strengthening public security and decisively confronting perpetrators of violent crimes and theft

According to the Judiciary Media Center, Mohseni Ejei, speaking at the Supreme Council of the Judiciary meeting on Monday, once again emphasized to all judicial officials that, in view of the final days of the year, they should focus on accelerating the progress of the people's judicial and legal affairs, and if due to the holidays, the times of judicial proceedings in the courts have been renewed, the hearings on the renewed cases should be held as soon as possible so that the people and the parties to the cases do not suffer material and moral losses.

The Chief Justice also directed all relevant judicial officials, especially the Attorney General and all prosecutors throughout the country, to provide the necessary assistance to the Penal Organization to control the market for the welfare of the people, in view of the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan and the days leading up to Nowruz.

Mohseni Ejei emphasized: The judiciary considers it its duty to help the government improve the livelihood of the people and strengthen the country's economic strength. In this regard, it deals decisively and legally with various manifestations of corruption, embezzlement, and hoarding. It also pays serious attention to removing obstacles to production and ensuring the security of investors in order to help healthy economic and production activists.

The head of the judiciary also referred to the issue of decisively combating smuggling, especially fuel smuggling, and said: The relevant judicial authorities and departments should take appropriate measures to combat the phenomenon of smuggling, especially fuel smuggling, which fuels imbalances, and in this regard, they should cooperate and provide maximum assistance to other departments and responsible agencies.

The head of the judiciary, emphasizing the need to strengthen the psychological and physical security of the people and citizens, stated: The relevant judicial officials should provide the necessary assistance to the forces providing security to the people in various sectors at all times of the year, especially in these final days of the year.

The chief justice also said that elements who resort to insecurity in the country and cause hardship for the people and abuse by the enemies through robberies and violent crimes will definitely face a decisive and legal response, and there will be no tolerance towards them.

The Chief Justice, while appreciating those judicial authorities who are serious about arresting and trying insecure elements in the country, especially thanked the Chief Justice and the Prosecutor General of Tehran for their speed in pursuing, arresting, and issuing indictments for the suspects in the murder of a Tehran University student, and said: "In some crimes that have occurred, including the tragic incident that occurred with a Tehran University student, if there is no speed in pursuing and arresting the suspects and also no acceleration and thoroughness in advancing the case, in addition to the discomfort and annoyance that is caused to the family of the victim, the enemies will also abuse and try to advance their sinister intentions in the context of that crime that has occurred; therefore, all judicial authorities throughout the country should pay serious attention to pursuing, arresting, trying, and punishing the perpetrators of violent crimes and all crimes that deprive people of their mental and physical security."
