Head of the Judiciary: We are now in a state of economic war, so our law must be proportionate to the conditions of economic war
Mohseni Ejei stated in a speech at the meeting of the Judicial Council of West Azerbaijan Province: During the provincial visit to West Azerbaijan, over 625 billion Tomans of credit were allocated to equip the judicial centers and authorities of this province.
The Head of the Judiciary stated: West Azerbaijan Province, considering all the capacities and natural gifts it enjoys, has not undergone proper development and progress in various sectors; It is necessary for the government, parliament, and judiciary to look at West Azerbaijan province with a new and special perspective and address the backwardness in this province; the enemy is sitting on these backwardness and wounds and exploiting them.
During his trip to West Azerbaijan Province, Mohseni Ejei participated in a meeting “on the role of judicial security in the production leap with public participation” and stated in his speech at the meeting: "We want the economy to become a people's economy and use private sector capital to strengthen the country's economic strength and production leap; this has requirements that we must adhere to; we must protect the dignity of the investor; we must fully ensure the security of his capital; we must not intrude into his private life and obstruct his work."
The Chief Justice stated: We must guarantee productive and economic investors that contracts concluded with them will not be changed and commitments made will not be canceled due to changes in governments and officials. It should not be the case that a productive investor markets and pre-sells products, but we suddenly announce that the export of that investor's products is prohibited; it is natural that investor will suffer losses and will no longer invest his capital in production. The investor must be able to plan and calculate the extent of his possible risk.
The Head of the Judiciary stated: Tell me the number of economic and productive activists in West Azerbaijan Province so that I can investigate and diagnose the reason for the imprisonment of these people, so that we can eliminate the shortcomings in the areas of productive investment.
Mohseni Ejei said: We must distinguish between a failed economic activist and a corrupt individual; on the other hand, we must help the wrongdoer to reform himself. We must distinguish between someone who, under certain circumstances, commits corruption for the first time and someone whose corruption is a habit.
The head of the judiciary stated: In order to resolve the judicial and legal issues and problems of West Azerbaijan Province, I will delegate any delegable authority I have to the Chief Justice of the province; I have also made this proposal to the president to delegate his delegable authority to the governors; because provincial officials and officials have a better understanding of the problems and capacities of their respective provinces and can better reach a consensus to resolve the problems of the province.
The head of the judiciary clarified: We are now in a situation of economic war, therefore our law, our regulations, our instructions, the behavior of our law enforcement officers and bailiffs must also be in line with the conditions of economic war.
