Tanks Facing Palestinian Refugees

Continuing its aggressive plan in the West Bank, the Israeli army has deployed its tanks in the Jenin camp for the first time since 2002. On Sunday afternoon, several tanks along with military vehicles stormed the Jenin camp for the first time since the invasion of the West Bank in 2002.
This action comes at a time when about 35 days have passed since the Israeli regime invaded the Jenin refugee camp in the West Bank. During this time, thousands of Palestinian families have been displaced and dozens of people have been martyred.
The Zionist regime's demolition operations in various areas of the West Bank, including Jenin, targeting civilian infrastructure, streets, and residential homes, continue.
Since the start of a new round of its attacks on the West Bank, which it has named "Operation Iron Wall," the Zionist regime has displaced a large number of Palestinians from their homes.
Israel's Minister of Defense Yisrael Katz claimed that this operation is being carried out to maintain a long-term presence in Palestinian refugee camps in the West Bank and prevent residents from returning.
He claimed that clearance operations are underway in the refugee camps in the West Bank.
Since the start of a new round of the Zionist regime's crimes against the West Bank, focusing on refugee camps, 40,000 people have been forced to leave their homes in Jenin, Tulkarm, and Nur Shams; Some of these people say that they left their homes after being ordered to evacuate and do not know when they will be able to return to their homes.
According to a document related to the Israeli regime published on the regime’s Channel 14, the Israeli security services have asked 20 Palestinian families to leave occupied Jerusalem and their residency will be canceled.
The document and the request were submitted in reference to the controversial Judaization law proposed by former National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gevir and Knesset member Elmog Cohen.
Citing this alleged and self-written law, the Israeli regime expels and seizes the homes of relatives of people who have carried out resistance operations if they have supported the operations or published statements praising their perpetrators.
The document also says that the Israeli police are collecting security information on the targeted individuals, which includes prisoners released in recent prisoner exchange agreements.
Continuation of genocide
Meanwhile, Israeli settlers are attacking various parts of the West Bank in the shadow of a new wave of Israeli army attacks; on Saturday, they attacked a Palestinian Bedouin community in occupied East Jerusalem and burned their property.
A local human rights group announced that the Israeli army and settlers have carried out nearly 3,000 attacks on Bedouin communities in the occupied West Bank since the beginning of 2024.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health also announced that at least 27 people have been martyred in the Israeli attack on Jenin and 70 people across the West Bank since the beginning of this year.
The Palestinian Foreign Ministry also referred to the deployment of Israeli tanks in the West Bank and said that this action by the Israeli regime is in continuation of genocide, displacement and annexation of Palestinian lands.
