Smotrich in a deadlock

Smotrich, the Minister of Finance of the Zionist regime, is going through difficult days. His survival in the current cabinet of the occupying regime of Jerusalem has led to the rejection of some supporters of the so-called religious Zionism movement.
Some of Smotrich's party members expected that after the Gaza ceasefire, he would adopt a behavior similar to Ben-Gwer, the resigned Minister of Internal Security of the Netanyahu cabinet, and leave the current coalition in Tel Aviv. However, Smotrich remained in the cabinet so that Netanyahu would not fall! But the story does not end there, because Smotrich is trying to simplify the issue of his survival in the cabinet of the occupying regime of Jerusalem.
The Israeli Finance Minister has claimed that the occupying regime in Jerusalem had no choice but to accept the prisoner exchange and that no one could prevent it from happening. These statements by Smotrich are in complete contradiction with his previous positions regarding the necessity of continuing the war in Gaza and indicate that he intends to remain in Netanyahu's cabinet under any pretext.
The reality is that polls conducted in the occupied territories indicate the depth of the crisis in the religious Zionist movement in Tel Aviv (led by Smotrich), such that if new elections are held in the occupied territories, he will not be able to obtain the minimum possible quorum (3 percent) to enter the Knesset. Therefore, Smotrich is faced with a difficult dilemma: remain in a cabinet that has agreed to a ceasefire in Gaza or be completely eliminated from Tel Aviv's political equations!
Over the past year, Smotrich has caused a crisis with positions such as the need to expand the scope of the Zionist occupation to the West Bank, Jordan and other parts of the region, to the extent that the Jordanian parliament decided to expel the ambassador of the occupying regime to Jerusalem. But now, Smotrich has officially admitted that Tel Aviv has failed and has faced defeat even in destroying Hamas and occupying Gaza.
Some of Smotrich's recent statements indicate the depth of the crisis that this murderous and child-killing politician is facing:
"The prisoner exchange proved that Israel is on its knees and in this situation, it will be forced to accept defeat. Israel's defeat during the capture of the Jews is Tel Aviv's biggest strategic blow in the prisoner exchange process. A blow that is much more dangerous than Hamas's return to Gaza or any other blow."
Smotrich has continued, in contradictory positions, claiming that the recent defeat of the Zionists in Gaza was a tactical defeat and that to compensate for it, it is necessary to attack Gaza again! The dual positions of Netanyahu's finance minister are a reflection of his internal conflicts after the devastating defeat of the Zionists in Gaza.
