Haaretz: Death of prisoners was the result of Netanyahu's decisions

The Zionist newspaper continued the report by adding: "Yesterday (Thursday), the bodies of Israeli prisoners were returned which is an unprecedented political and military failure."
The Zionist newspaper emphasized: "Their deaths and the deaths of many other prisoners were the result of decisions made by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and military pressure alone did not lead to the release of any of them; only the agreement with Hamas brought them back."
Haaretz added: The fate of the 59 prisoners, 24 of whom are still alive, will be determined in the second phase of the agreement, and the only way to return them is through the continuation of the agreement, which clearly means a cessation of hostilities and a complete withdrawal from the Gaza Strip.
The report of the Zionist newspaper continued by emphasizing that there is no other way, neither through false promises of achieving a complete victory nor through deceptive propaganda issued by the Prime Minister's Office.
