The Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution: No plan for Gaza will succeed without the people’s and Resistance’s consent

During the meeting, Ayatollah Khamenei congratulated Mr. Nakhalah on the Resistance’s victory in Gaza and emphasized: “The remarkable work of the leaders and fighters of the Palestinian Resistance in maintaining unity and solidarity while standing firm against the enemy and advancing the complex process of negotiations, as well as the patience and resilience of the people, have brought honor to the Resistance in the region.”

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution described the victory of the Islamic Resistance and the people of Gaza against the Zionist and American enemy as highly significant, noting that this victory has set a new standard in Resistance struggles. 

Ayatollah Khamenei also spoke of some of the US’s “foolish plans” and other proposals related to Gaza and Palestine. “These plans will lead nowhere. Those who claimed a year and a half ago that they would destroy the Resistance in a short matter of time are now receiving their captives back in small groups from the Resistance fighters, while simultaneously releasing a substantial number of Palestinian captives in exchange,” he remarked.

He described the method employed by the Resistance for the release of Zionist captives as embodying the magnificence of the Resistance before the eyes of the world. "Global public opinion is in favor of Palestine now, and under these circumstances, no plan will be successful without the consent of the Resistance and the people of Gaza," he stated.

During the meeting, Ziyad al-Nakhalah, the Secretary-General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, congratulated Imam Khamenei on the Resistance’s magnificent victory in Gaza. He credited this success to the continuous support of the Islamic Republic and the guidance of Martyr Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah. "The Palestinian Resistance has, in fact, been at war with the United States and the West for the past year and a half. Despite the imbalance of power, the Palestinian Resistance has succeeded in securing substantial victories," he stated.
