Suspects arrested in connection with Tehran University student murder case

Ali Salehi, Tehran Prosecutor General, offered condolences to the family of Amir Mohammad Khaleghi, a business management student at Tehran University who was murdered by thieves with cold weapons on Wednesday night in a neighborhood near Tehran University's dormitory. He stated, "The head of the judiciary immediately after this tragic incident ordered that the matter be followed up carefully, seriously, and quickly, so we referred the case to the Special Branch and Special Murder Investigation for investigation."
Stating that this case is being investigated and monitored immediately, he added, "We have held several meetings with colleagues in the law enforcement field to follow up on this case, and the necessary monitoring is being carried out in this area."
Tehran Prosecutor General, pointing out that unfortunately we have not yet reached the stage of discovering this crime, said, "The suspects have been arrested in this regard, and investigations are underway in this field. Technical and intelligence work is underway. We are trying to arrest the perpetrator of this crime as soon as possible and punish him for his actions. "
Emphasizing that the judicial system will definitely deal with this matter decisively, quickly, and in accordance with the law, Salehi said, Those who commit such crimes and commit such violent acts should know that the judicial system will deal with them very decisively, seriously, and deterrently.
Salehi added: The Tehran Prosecutor's Office's dealings with perpetrators of specific and violent crimes and armed robbers have been very decisive and without any legal concessions to date. We do not send perpetrators of such crimes even on short-term leave.
He said: We are continuously and moment by moment following up to identify this murderous thief as soon as possible and deal decisively with him.
The Tehran Prosecutor concluded by emphasizing: We have no tolerance for thieves and people who disrupt public order and security.
