Police officers shoot inmate at Pennsylvania detention center

According to CBS, a clash between police officers in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, USA, and a suspect in domestic violence at the detention center led to a shooting.
According to police, a 38-year-old man was arrested late Sunday night local time on charges of domestic violence and was taken to the Monhall police station to face charges.
He was being held in a cell and tried to cover up security cameras. Seeing this, police officers attacked him with a Taser and then fired several shots at him.
The man was taken to the hospital in critical condition from a wound to the upper body. According to a CBS report, the shooting occurred while the victim was unarmed and was being held in a jail cell.
It is not yet known whether the police officers involved in the incident have been placed on leave.
Allegheny police said they are investigating the case, without providing further details.
