Head of the Judiciary: The country's economic problems cannot be solved without the people

According to the Judiciary Media Center, Mohseni Ejei stated during a speech at a special meeting to address legal and judicial issues in Lorestan Province: The country's economic problems cannot be solved without the people; our economy must become popular. In order to attract people's economic participation, we must provide platforms in various dimensions; in the next step, we must do something to make investors feel comfortable about the security of their investments within our country. We must maintain the dignity of the investor; this is the duty of all powers. It is not possible to not maintain someone's personality or dignity and then expect them to invest in solving the country's economic problems and completing projects.
The Chief Justice stated: One of the problems in our country is that when a decision is made based on expert work and consensus, the relevant officials back down due to a media hype or a tweet or a letter published in cyberspace. When 10 people are supposed to make a decision, two of them may disagree with the majority; in these cases, those two people should not obstruct the implementation of the decision by creating a hype. I always emphasize to managers that when they make a decision based on collective wisdom and expert work, they should be diligent in implementing it and not be afraid of hype.
The Chief Justice also stated in a meeting with different segments of the people of Lorestan Province: Lorestan Province is a province with four seasons, has good rainfall and is also blessed with fertile lands; but the question is why is this province included among the underprivileged areas? Why should a project that started two decades ago in this province have only made 20 percent progress after these years? Most of the managers in Lorestan province are locals and are aware of the problems and capacities of this province. If these local managers reach a consensus on the issues and problems of Lorestan province, a large number of the province’s problems will definitely be resolved. Also, those parts of the province’s problems that require a decision-making at the center can be resolved more easily if the provincial managers reach a consensus and the authorities at the center are informed of this consensus.
The head of the judiciary clarified: The issues that you, the respected representatives of different segments of the people of Lorestan, raised in this meeting may not be directly related to the judiciary, but these issues are related to me as the head of the judiciary, and I consider myself responsible for them because I have legal membership in many important and influential high councils.
The Chief Justice stated: "Respecting clients in all judicial authorities and shortening the time for handling judicial cases are two basic and important principles on our agenda in the judiciary. With the cooperation and support of the parliament, we are seeking to remove cases from the category of "criminal titles." The truth is that a series of laws are cumbersome and limit our judges and prevent us from expediting proceedings."
