Trump unveils Ukraine peace plan at Munich Security Conference

The Ukrainian website reported, citing Bloomberg News, that Keith Kellogg, Donald Trump's special envoy for Ukraine and Russia, has confirmed that he will unveil Trump's plan for peace in Ukraine next week during a security summit in Munich.
The American official wrote in a post on social media that "Trump's goal is to end the bloody and costly war in Ukraine" and this issue will be raised in Munich.
The Kyiv Post quoted Kellogg as saying that both sides must make concessions and that Zelensky "has already shown that he is softening his position on territories."
According to the report, the plan may include a "ceasefire" and the suspension of the occupied territories in Russia's hands and the provision of security guarantees to Ukraine. However, details of the security guarantees have not yet been specified.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stressed in a video address on Wednesday that his team had had extensive contacts with Washington in recent days about peace talks.
“We are ready for strong diplomacy and are preparing for it,” Zelensky said. “But this requires the resistance of the fighters and the efficiency of our army and its modernization.”
