Trump administration continues to make sweeping changes

According to Reuters, two sources informed that the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) has offered to buy out all of its employees in line with Trump's priorities.
A CIA spokesman confirmed the move in a statement, calling it in line with the goals of new CIA Director John Ratcliffe.
He added in the statement: "Mr. Ratcliffe is moving quickly to ensure that the CIA workforce is accountable to the administration's national security priorities. These actions are part of an overall strategy to inject new energy into the agency."
Ratcliffe, a former member of the U.S. House of Representatives, was the director of national intelligence in the first Trump administration and was confirmed as the CIA director in the new administration.
But the CIA did not respond to requests for information about the number of people to be hired and did not disclose any other details.
Reuters noted that the reported offer to buy out the CIA is part of a broader shakeup that has begun since the start of Trump’s second administration, which saw hundreds of government employees laid off in an effort to cut red tape and hire loyalists.
The White House last week also ordered up to two million full-time federal employees to be furloughed with pay and benefits until Sept. 30, 2025, in a move to shrink the government.
Following these decisions, labor unions representing U.S. government employees filed a lawsuit early Tuesday to block the Trump administration’s offer to buy out federal employees.
