Release of Palestinian prisoners amid enthusiastic public welcome

According to Al-Mayadeen, as part of the fourth phase of the prisoner exchange, a number of Palestinian prisoners were recently released from the Israeli regime's Ofer prison.
Buses carrying Palestinian prisoners released from Ofer prison entered the town of Bitonia in the city of Ramallah in the West Bank and were welcomed.
The videos released depicted the widespread reception of the prisoners by Palestinians in the town of Bitonia.
The Palestinian Prisoners' Information Office announced on Friday night that the Israeli regime will release 183 Palestinian prisoners in the fourth phase of the exchange within the framework of the ceasefire agreement with Hamas.
According to some reports, 110 of these Palestinian prisoners will be transferred to the Gaza Strip.
The Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, handed over two Israeli prisoners, Ofer Calderon and Jordan Bibas, to representatives of the International Red Cross in the fourth phase of the prisoner exchange in the city of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip.
Shortly after, the brigades handed over a third Israeli prisoner, Kate Segal, to representatives of the International Red Cross in the port of Gaza City.
The Palestinian Prisoners' Affairs Information Office also announced on Friday night that the Israeli regime will release 183 Palestinian prisoners in the fourth phase of the prisoner exchange within the framework of the ceasefire agreement with the Hamas movement.
