Trump seeks to deport anti-Israel immigrants

According to a document obtained by the New York Post, the executive order requires heads of agencies and departments to submit their recommendations to the White House within the next 60 days and also requires the Justice Department to conduct investigations into pro-Palestine slogans and “threatening” actions on campuses and other locations.
Last month, six Republican committees in the House of Representatives issued a report calling for stronger federal action to combat anti-Semitism, including making federal aid to universities conditional on implementing stricter policies to combat “discrimination against Jews.”
At the height of the Gaza war, Columbia University became a symbol of student protests in the Western world against the crimes of the Zionist regime in the Strip. In the report, American lawmakers considered the rallies held at the university to be an example of anti-Semitism and objected to the $2.7 billion federal aid to Columbia University in fiscal year 2023.
During his election campaign, Donald Trump also called for the expulsion of students who support Palestine and are residing in the United States on visas. He previously signed another executive order that seems to have been aimed at implementing the same goal.
This is despite the fact that in December 2023, the presidents of some American universities refused to answer a direct question at a congressional hearing whether supporting the “Jewish genocide” was a crime, reminding students of their right to free speech.
Trump’s efforts to combat what he calls anti-Semitism will likely include depriving universities of federal funds. This action comes after he previously ordered a temporary halt to federal aid.
During his first term, Trump also threatened to cut off federal funding to some cities in response to protests against US police brutality following the killing of George Floyd in 2020.
