Araqchi: Iran has not received a specific message from the US for negotiations

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the cabinet meeting, Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi said: No specific message has been sent or received; whatever is being discussed is in the media.
Stating that my words were also quite clear in the interview with Sky News, he stated: Our talks with European countries are ongoing and we are waiting for the explanation of the policies of the other side.
The Foreign Minister said: We will examine them and if we reach the conclusion in the country that negotiations can take place, a decision will be made for negotiations on an equal footing.
Araghchi also said: There is currently no decision and our criterion is the same past distrust that still governs the relations between the two countries; we have previously agreed; We implemented the agreement, but they were the ones who broke it.
"There is a need for practical measures and specific policies; when we are informed of these policies, we will take action to review and make decisions," the head of the diplomatic service said, emphasizing that this mistrust cannot be easily resolved with flowery language.
