Head of the Judiciary: Our priority in the judicial system is the radical fight against corruption and malfeasance

Mohseni Ejei, during his speech at the 25th Conference of Public Prosecutors and Revolutionary, Military and Special Clergymen from all over the country, focusing on the "Role of the Prosecutor's Office in Desirable Judicial Governance," referred to the need to reflect on the verses of the Holy Quran and said: We, judicial officials, need to read the Quran regarding the duties and responsibilities we have in the matter of justice and to act completely and comprehensively on the commands of the Quran in line with our duties and responsibilities.
Mohseni Ejei stated: It is not appropriate for a person who is an agent of the system to speak in an international forum in a way that weakens the flow of truth and makes the enemy happy and delighted. It is not appropriate to speak in a global forum as if there is a dispute in our country; it is not permissible to say anything among foreigners that would evoke the enemy's false insinuation that the country is weak!
The Chief Justice said: In the case of Palestine, history has shown us that compromises and Camp David agreements have never worked, but resistance and perseverance have always been accompanied by victory and triumph.
In another part of his statement, the Chief Justice said: We judicial authorities must confront any type of corruption, whether financial or non-financial, in a serious, professional, knowledgeable, and resourceful manner. Our priority in the judicial system is to fight corruption and misdeeds in a radical way; of course, this radical fight does not mean that we ignore the managers and perpetrators of corruption.
The head of the judiciary said: Our judicial authorities should deal with criminals who attempt to forge the titles, signatures, and correspondence of the country's officials firmly and without tolerance within the framework of legal standards, and not consider the crime committed as a simple forgery, but rather pay attention to the consequences of this crime and the damage it causes to people's trust.
In another part of his statement, the head of the judiciary considered prosecutors to be at the forefront of criminal issues and ensuring and strengthening the security of society, and stated: "Our prosecutors, with the help of security, intelligence, and military forces, play an effective role in ensuring and strengthening the physical and psychological security of society and the people, as well as thwarting the conspiracies of the enemies. It is unfair that we do not see the efforts of those who ensure the security of the people. The enemies have increased the scope of their conspiracies to make our society insecure, so it is essential that our prosecutors, in cooperation with the intelligence, security, and military sectors, pay extra attention and effort to ensuring and strengthening comprehensive psychological and physical security in various dimensions. The assassination of two high-ranking judges of the Supreme Court is an example of the conspiracies and efforts of the enemy inside our country; many examples are also being thwarted with the efforts of the relevant forces and officials.
The head of the judiciary said: Our prosecutors should strengthen their supervision of their subordinates and know that this continuous supervision prevents many violations and crimes. It is also with these continuous supervisions that we can ensure the strict implementation of the approved laws, regulations, and guidelines.
