Head of the Islamic Culture and Communications Organization:
Do not be misled by the U.S. National Security document
The head of the Islamic Culture and Communications Organization stressed that the 2026 U.S. National Security document should not be taken at face value or approached with complacency.

Dr. Mohammad Mehdi Imanipour wrote in a post on X:
“The purported content of the United States’ 2026 strategic document should not be interpreted as a withdrawal from regional interventions in West Asia. This implausible claim may instead indicate a greater U.S. focus on ‘soft intervention’ rather than ‘hard intervention.’ If treated negligently, this shift could have serious consequences for regional security and the international system.”
It is worth noting that the release of the Trump administration’s 2026 National Security document has sparked extensive debate in the field of international security and foreign policy, prompting a wide range of analyses and interpretations.
