UNESCO must stop the plundering of historical sites in the West Bank
The head of the Islamic Culture and Communications Organization emphasized that UNESCO must urgently intervene in the case of the looting of archaeological and historical sites in the West Bank by the Zionist regime.

In a post on X, Dr. Mohammad Mehdi Imanipour wrote:
“Under the cover of silence from international institutions, the Zionist regime is attempting to classify dozens of Palestinian archaeological sites in the occupied West Bank as ‘Israeli antiquities. Through this reclassification, it seeks not only to confiscate these sites but also to pave the way for further settlement expansion. The time has come for UNESCO to address this case responsibly and decisively.”
It is worth noting that Ben-Gvir, the Minister of Internal Security, and Smotrich, the Minister of Finance of the Zionist regime, have both supported the ongoing and newly planned attacks by the occupying regime against the Gaza Strip and the plundering of its resources.”
