Resistance retains both deterrent and action capabilities
Nasser Qandil told Mizan: “Two fundamental pillars are necessary to recognize the strength of any entity: one is deterrence, and the other is the ability to take action. After the events of October 7, 2023 (Operation Al-Aqsa Storm), the Zionist regime attempted to strip the resistance front of these inherent and acquired powers. Yet, we see that the resistance in Lebanon and other parts of West Asia is responding intelligently and decisively to this enemy strategy. The attacks that the Zionist regime carries out against Hezbollah and southern Lebanon are a clear sign of Tel Aviv’s disorganized and ineffective efforts.”
The Lebanese politician emphasized: “What has confused the enemy is the preservation of both deterrent and operational capabilities within the resistance front. These two powers continue to be embodied in the resistance groups across the region.”
