The Foreign Minister emphasized that Iran considers any agreement aimed at reducing its uranium enrichment level to zero as a betrayal and will never accept it.

In an interview, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said: “We will never accept zero enrichment, because this has become a matter of national pride and honor. We have paid a high material and spiritual cost for it, and we have lost many nuclear martyrs to preserve this right. Any agreement that seeks to eliminate uranium enrichment would be considered a betrayal, and we will not agree to it.”
He added: “In our engagement with the IAEA, we have nothing to do with the nuclear facilities that have been bombed. We will only cooperate within IAEA regulations regarding the facilities that have not been attacked.”
