The number of journalists killed in Gaza has reached 204

According to the Arab 48 news website, "Mohammed Bashir Talmas", a 40-year-old reporter for the Palestinian news agency "Safa", was martyred this morning (Tuesday) due to severe injuries sustained by an Israeli airstrike on him and a group of Gaza refugees on Monday night.
Based on the report, Talmas underwent abdominal surgery this morning, but died due to the severity of the injuries.
In this connection, the State Information Office in the Gaza Strip announced the martyrdom of Muhammad Bashir Talmas, the editor-in-chief of the Palestinian Safa news agency, who was injured on Monday night in an airstrike by Israeli warplanes on a group of refugees in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, and expressed condolences over his martyrdom.
The Palestinian Safa news agency also strongly condemned the continued deliberate targeting of Palestinian journalists as part of the Israeli regime’s genocide against the residents of Gaza, and called for the trial of the political and military leaders of the Israeli army who have been involved in the largest massacre of journalists since October 7, 2023.
In an effort to silence the voices that express the truth about what is happening in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli regime has been subjecting reporters and journalists to continuous harassment since the beginning of the Israeli genocidal war in the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, and has so far martyred 204 of them, which is a clear violation of international law.
Over the past months, organizations related to the activities of journalists, human rights, and international organizations have called for strict measures to be taken to prevent the Zionist regime's attacks on reporters and journalists and their deliberate targeting by the Israeli army, but this criminal regime continues to target journalists and information centers by ignoring these requests.
