Arrest of an Israeli on suspicion of transferring sensitive information to Iran
In a joint statement issued this morning (Sunday), the Israeli regime’s internal security agency and its police alleged that they had arrested a 27-year-old individual named Shimon Azarzar on charges of cooperating with Iran, claiming that he had been in direct contact with Iranian intelligence officers for more than a year.
According to the Israeli security services, this individual sent information—including photographs, coordinates, and data related to sensitive facilities across the occupied territories—to the Iranian side.
According to the Shin Bet’s claim, the settler had offered Iranian authorities that he could provide further information regarding military bases.
The statement also alleges that Shimon Azarzar, using the job position of his fiancée, who serves as a reservist in the Israeli regime’s air unit, obtained details about the army’s activities and bases and sent them to the Iranian side.
