The Resistance’s weapons are rooted in Lebanon’s national interests

In his interview with Mizan, Hamadeh stated: “The resistance is inherently a concept that arises from the realities of the region and Lebanese society. Accordingly, the elements of the resistance, including its weapons, are rooted in this reality. This reality is based on Lebanon’s national interests, and the protection of the country’s security depends on the full realization of these weapons. Under such circumstances, others have no right to comment on a matter derived from our national and domestic interests, and even worse, to interfere. The West and the Israeli regime cannot make decisions regarding the resistance’s weapons in such a context.”

The Lebanese politician further emphasized: “The responsibility of the Lebanese government at this critical juncture is substantial. The government must not be influenced by the suggestions or pressures of others regarding the resistance’s weapons, and in fact, it should actively protect them.”
