Araghchi responds to Netanyahu’s remarks
Iran’s Foreign Minister reacted to comments made by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who recently claimed that “Israel is the reason for stability in the Middle East.”

Following Netanyahu’s statement that “if Israel did not exist, the Middle East would not exist either, and within two seconds it would collapse under Iranian dominance,” Seyyed Abbas Araqchi responded.
On Friday, in a message on X (formerly Twitter), Araghchi described Israel as the “primary source of instability in the region” and, referencing the track record of the Israeli regime and its Prime Minister, wrote:
The so called "anchor of security in the Middle East":
- Wanted for genocide and war crimes
- Imposing apartheid on 7.5 million Palestinians
- Bombed 7 countries over past year
- Occupying Palestinian, Lebanese and Syrian territory
Israel is the source of instability in our region.
