Texas police interrogate U.S. veteran over online criticism of Israel
The incident has sparked widespread debate about the growing threats to freedom of speech in the United States—particularly amid the Israeli regime’s ongoing genocide in Gaza.
According to U.S. media reports, the disabled veteran from Texas released a video showing police officers questioning him at his home for posting critical comments about Israel online. The footage quickly went viral, triggering a wave of public outrage.
The veteran stated that on October 29, 2025, police entered his property without warning or permission and proceeded to question him.
In the video, one officer can be heard telling the veteran—who asks why police are on his property—that they came “because of your online comments about the Jewish community.”
The veteran, invoking his constitutional right to free speech, firmly asked the officers to leave his property.
The video’s release has deepened concerns about political intimidation and the erosion of free expression in the U.S. In the past two years—since the Israeli regime launched its war on Gaza in October 2023—U.S. authorities have carried out a series of measures aimed at silencing criticism of Israel’s actions.
These have included violent police crackdowns on student protesters, as well as the arrest of journalists voicing support for Palestine.
