American interventionism in Syria has worried Iraq

Dr. Saadullah Zarei stated in an interview with Mizan: "The concerns that have arisen in Iraq stem from the intensification of American interventionism in the region, and in particular, Syria. Iraq, due to its long border with Syria, is extremely concerned about the political security developments that have occurred in Syria in the past month. In fact, the Americans have displayed behavior on the Syrian scene that has been worrying for the Iraqis, because the United States has practically played a facilitating and supporting role for the occupying forces in the recent developments in Syria."
This analyst of regional issues added: "In order to ensure their security, the Iraqis once again need to cooperate with a force that they can trust and rely on on the day of the incident. On the other hand, managing security issues, given the changes and developments in Syria, requires dialogue and consultation. The recent trip of Iraqi Prime Minister Mr. Sudani to Tehran can be analyzed in this regard. "
