Araghchi responds to Grossi’s recent remarks
Speaking to reporters, Seyed Abbas Araghchi responded to Grossi’s statements, saying:
“I don’t know whether he made these remarks out of concern or as a threat.”
Grossi had told a Swiss newspaper that, “At the moment, Tehran is only accepting our inspectors in a limited manner. The country has imposed restrictions on inspections due to its own security concerns. The Iranians are hesitant — which I understand. But if diplomacy fails, I fear that force might be used again.”
Araghchi added: “Those who make such threats should know that repeating a failed experience will lead to nothing but another failure.”
According to reports, Rafael Grossi made these comments on Wednesday in an interview with a Swiss newspaper while discussing the situation surrounding Iran’s nuclear program.
