Tel Aviv still seeks to occupy Arab countries

In his interview with Mizan, Qandil stated:

“Some naïve people think that signing a ceasefire in Gaza has erased Israel’s expansionist and occupier mindset toward Arab countries, but this view is completely dangerous and mistaken. Occupation is rooted in the nature of Zionism and their particular perspective on foreign lands and countries. Figures like Smotrich (Israeli Finance Minister) and Ben Gvir continue to uphold this expansionist, occupier mindset even in current circumstances.”

The former Lebanese parliamentarian added:

“This dangerous and expansionist mindset exists in the occupied territories and is fundamentally undeniable. Therefore, one must view past, current, and future developments in the region realistically.”
