Mossad spy executed in Qom
Seyed Kazem Mousavi, Head of the Judiciary and Chair of the Judicial Council of Qom Province, announced the execution and stated that it was carried out following confirmation by the Supreme Court and the rejection of a pardon request in Qom Prison.
Mousavi explained that the spy began his activities and contacts with Israeli intelligence services in October 2023 and was arrested in February of the same year. After intelligence investigations, the collection of complete documentation, and the individual’s confession to cooperating with and transmitting information to Israeli websites, he was sentenced to death for espionage and intelligence collaboration with a Mossad officer, transmitting confidential information to Mossad under Article 6 of the Law on Combating Hostile Actions of the Israeli Regime Against Peace and Security, and for cooperating with foreign hostile governments (including the U.S. Department of State).
Regarding the nature of the espionage, Mousavi stated that the individual, for personal and professional reasons, contacted Israeli intelligence services, held meetings with a Mossad officer, engaged in intelligence cooperation, and began transmitting confidential information online to the Israeli regime. Swift and intelligent action by national intelligence and judicial authorities prevented the leakage of sensitive information.
Concluding his remarks, Mousavi emphasized that public vigilance and cooperation are key to maintaining security and societal stability. He urged citizens to exercise the utmost caution and report any suspicious activities immediately through official intelligence, security, and judicial channels.
