The 5th Online World Prisoners’ Chess Championship Held at Tehran Women’s Penitentiary

The fifth edition of the Online World Prisoners’ Chess Championship was held on October 13, 2025 at the Tehran Women’s Penitentiary.
Female inmates participating in the event had received the necessary training to take part in the tournament through collaboration between the Chess Federation of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Tehran Provincial Chess Association.
