Head of Judiciary: Islamic resistance remains strong and resilient
According to the Judiciary’s Media Center, Mohseni Eje’i, on Monday, spoke at a meeting of the Supreme Judicial Council and commemorated Police Week (Faraja). He described the police as a dedicated institution serving the country and the people, whose mission extends from the center to the borders and across all regions of the country, covering all social groups and ages.
Mohseni Eje’i emphasized that the police are a trusted institution, and to strengthen this social capital, officers must be law-abiding, patient, and maintain close ties with the public. The judiciary, he added, will support a strong police force to ensure public peace and security.
The head of the judiciary further stressed the importance of courteous and diligent service to citizens: providing sincere, uninterrupted service to the public and the Islamic system is a top priority. He noted that legal and judicial matters should never be left pending or delayed, and officials must handle them promptly, accurately, and respectfully.
Referring again to the volume of incoming cases, Mohseni Eje’i said that while the influx is linked to societal issues rather than the judiciary’s performance, judicial authorities can implement innovative measures to prevent the quality of judicial work from being affected. He urged relevant departments, including the crime prevention office, prosecutors, and dispute resolution centers, to use public capacity for mediation, arbitration, and reconciliation.
On public safety, Mohseni Eje’i emphasized the need to protect both the physical and psychological well-being of citizens. He called for active cooperation with market regulators to prevent hoarding, and for strict action against elements that undermine public security or contribute to social disorder, always in accordance with the law.
He also addressed the recent killing of the revolutionary cleric Martyr Valiollah Heydari, urging judicial authorities to quickly and thoroughly investigate the incident and bring the perpetrator to justice.
Mohseni Eje’i further spoke on the second anniversary of Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, stating: “Over the past two years, the leaders of the aggressive Zionist regime and its allies repeatedly spoke of eliminating the Islamic resistance in Gaza and the wider West Asia region. Yet today, after two years, the Islamic resistance has not been removed or destroyed. Rather, it stands firm and resilient, its global influence and recognition have grown, and young people around the world, regardless of nationality, religion, or ethnicity, admire and support it. At the same time, global hatred and resentment toward the U.S. and Israel, due to their countless crimes in Gaza, have reached unprecedented levels. Politically, Hamas continues to negotiate with dignity, without conceding to the enemy’s excessive demands.”
