Shooting in Sydney leaves 20 injured
An armed man in Sydney fired about 100 rounds at pedestrians on the street.
The shooting, which took place in Australia’s most populous city, resulted in about 20 people being wounded.
New South Wales Police stated they were called to a street in Sydney’s Inner West, where the gunman was firing at passing vehicles and police officers.

According to police reports, one of the victims is in critical condition, while 19 others were treated for injuries caused by shrapnel or shattered glass. Several of the wounded were taken to hospital.
A large number of police officers were dispatched to the scene, blocking access routes to the area.
The perpetrator was arrested by police and taken to hospital due to his injuries.
No charges have yet been filed against him, and investigations into the incident and the gunman’s motives are ongoing.
