On Monday evening, Benjamin Netanyahu met with U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House, and it appears that the apology took place during this meeting.
Israel’s Channel 12 reported: “During his meeting with the U.S. President at the White House, the Israeli Prime Minister contacted Qatar’s Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani by phone and apologized for the recent attack on Doha.”
Earlier, the Israeli army carried out an attack on Doha, the capital of Qatar, aiming to assassinate leaders of the Hamas movement. The attack failed to achieve its objectives and further damaged Israel’s international reputation.
