Confidential letter from Israeli army chief to Netanyahu
Channel 13 of the Zionist regime revealed that Eyal Zamir, the Chief of Staff of the Israeli army, prepared a highly sensitive and secret document a few weeks ago, on the eve of launching military operations in Gaza City, and handed it in writing to the Prime Minister and War Minister of the occupying regime.
According to the report, the document contained warnings regarding the course of the military operation.
In his letter to Netanyahu, Zamir wrote: “Israeli army forces are returning to the same areas as before without having any clear political objective. Israel is obligated to find an alternative to Hamas in Gaza but refrains from doing so.”
Zamir emphasized: “Every military operation requires political backing, which currently does not exist, and field operations endanger the lives of hostages and worsen their situation.”
A military source from the regime, reacting to this revelation, stated: “The Chief of Staff has a responsibility and duty to convey such warnings clearly and in writing to the Prime Minister.”
The spokesperson for the Israeli army also said: “This document is extremely sensitive and confidential, and was personally delivered to the Prime Minister and War Minister. Naturally, due to its sensitivity, no explanation will be given about its contents.”
