Warning of Iran’s Judiciary Chief to those undermining public psychological security
According to the Judiciary Media Center, Mohseni Ejei, on Monday (September 29), in a speech at the meeting of the Supreme Council of the Judiciary, while commemorating the anniversary of the martyrdom of the great fighter and standard-bearer of resistance in the region, Martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, said: “The enemies of Islam, led by the U.S. regime and the accursed and temporary Zionist regime, must know that with the martyrdom of the steadfast commanders of the Resistance Front, fresh blood has been injected into this divine front, and the downfall of the arrogant powers has drawn nearer.”
Continuing his remarks, the Judiciary Chief explained the conditions prevailing in the country and the conspiracies and hostilities devised by arrogant regimes and some Western states against the Iranian people.
He said: “For nearly half a century, the camp of arrogance has employed every kind of plot and hostility against the Iranian people and the Islamic Republic—from the imposition of the 8-year war at the beginning of the Revolution, to assassinations, blind armed rebellions by hypocrite groups, the creation of various seditions, and economic blockades. Yet the arrogant powers have still not realized that the Iranian people and the Islamic Republic will never surrender to coercion, nor accept imposed war or peace. Neither terror and war, nor sedition and economic siege, can bring them to their knees.”
He added: “The economic blockade against Iran, which the enemy’s propaganda outlets now keep talking about, is nothing new to the Iranian people. From the very start of the Revolution, we have been under economic siege. During the imposed 8-year war, were we ever allowed to import essential goods? Have not our assets been frozen since the beginning of the Revolution? These are the paths the enemies have tested for over forty years, only to be defeated each time by the firm will and unshakable faith of the Iranian people.”
Ejei continued: “The same governments and regimes that armed Saddam with weapons of mass destruction—biological and chemical—to use against the Iranian nation, are today seeking, through force, bullying, and deception, to impose their sinister aims on the Iranian people. One truly wonders why the leaders of these regimes never learn from history and fail to understand that the Iranian nation will not surrender to coercion.”
Issuing a stern warning to those undermining public psychological security and thus playing into the enemy’s hands, he said: “In today’s conditions, when the enemies are putting all their efforts into toppling the Iranian nation and system, we must remain vigilant. Anyone who seeks through psychological operations to weaken the morale of the people, spread fear, or create panic will certainly face legal action. Likewise, those who, whether out of greed or negligence, or as agents of the enemy, disrupt the supply of essential goods, hoard, or engage in profiteering, will also face firm and uncompromising action under the law.”
He emphasized: “Now is no time for leniency with traitors. Today, we cannot treat with tolerance those who inflame the country’s markets, trample the people’s values and culture, and undermine national unity.”
Referring to past experiences, Ejei said: “During the imposed 12-day war, there were individuals who gave information to the enemy. While the whole world was condemning the aggressors against Islamic Iran, they claimed in one way or another that Iran itself was to blame! In reality, by taking such a stance, they were weakening the domestic front while pretending to speak in a ‘counseling tone.’ But is counseling supposed to mean that when your country is under foreign attack, you strengthen the enemy’s front and weaken your own? Did you not see or hear that the world, too, condemned the aggressors against Iran? Did you not know that our country was attacked while engaged in indirect negotiations, simply to prove its good faith?”
The Judiciary Chief then pointed to the high readiness of Iran’s youth to defend the country’s geographical, cultural, and value-based borders, stating: “I say with absolute certainty that if war is again imposed on our country today, our youth will enter the field with even greater determination and stronger faith than during the 8-year Sacred Defense. Everyone witnessed glimpses of the jihad and sacrifices of our youth during the 12-day war. Today, these young people have firmer faith, greater awareness, and more modern equipment, and they stand fully prepared to defend the integrity of the Islamic Republic of Iran.”
He added: “Recall Operation Samen-ol-A’emmeh—the breaking of the Abadan siege in October 1981. Was it not our youth of that era who, in response to the command of the Imam of the Ummah, carried out that heroic operation? Rest assured, today’s youth possess the same resolve, faith, and devotion to leadership as the youth of yesterday—and in some respects, these values have only grown stronger among them.”
In continuation, the Judiciary Chief referred to the growing global hatred and outrage toward the Zionist regime and its criminal leaders: “This year, the UN General Assembly witnessed an unprecedented event. When that criminal leader of the Zionist crime syndicate (Netanyahu) was delivering his speech, numerous individuals and delegations left the hall in protest against the words of this child-killer. This reflects the growing global hatred and outrage toward the accursed Zionist regime and its criminal leaders. Today the world has awakened to the crimes of the Zionists. This is the result of the perseverance and steadfastness of the proud Resistance Front and the oppressed yet powerful people of Gaza.”
