Death toll in Gaza surpasses 65,000
On Wednesday, the Ministry reported that in the past 24 hours alone, 98 Palestinians were killed and 385 others wounded. Among them, seven were killed while attempting to receive humanitarian aid.
According to the Ministry of Health, since the start of the Israeli military assault on October 7, 2023, the total number of deaths in Gaza has reached 65,062, with 165,697 wounded. From March 18, 2025, until today, 12,511 people have been killed and 53,656 injured.
The death toll of those killed while trying to receive humanitarian aid has risen to 2,504, with more than 18,381 wounded in such incidents.
The Ministry’s statement also noted that due to malnutrition and starvation, four additional deaths were recorded, bringing the total number of such fatalities to 432, including 146 children. Since the declaration of famine in Gaza, 154 people—among them 31 children—have died.
