The Zionist regime’s challenge in interceptor missiles after the 12-day war
Channel 12 of the Zionist regime’s television, quoting Boaz Levy, CEO of Israel Aerospace Industries, reported: The estimated price of an Arrow-3 interceptor missile is around $2 million, and given the importance of interceptor stockpiles, this issue is being raised with Benjamin Netanyahu and Yisrael Katz.
Meanwhile, Lockheed Martin recently announced a contract for the sale of 1,970 Patriot missiles and related equipment, valued at a record $9.8 billion.
Channel 12, citing a systems engineer at Israel Aerospace Industries, reported: We are in a war of ideas with Iranian engineers, who are constantly striving to improve and innovate in ways that make interception more difficult; therefore, there is never a 100 percent success rate.
The report further added: We have seen what happens when missiles hit and explode in Israeli cities; every such incident, every missile that penetrates air defense, causes enormous pain.
The report also stated: We see that Iran is constantly changing, developing, and testing new methods.
Boaz Levy noted: In war, when 530 or more missiles are fired at you, you inevitably use your interceptors. As a result, the number of interceptor missiles decreases, and now we must replenish the stockpiles.
