Iran-Tunisia relations enter a “Golden Era”

Dr. Hadi Ajili told Mizan: "Iran and Tunisia are two countries with significant geopolitical and cultural importance in their respective regions. Iran in West Asia and Tunisia in North Africa share concerns and interests that manifest over time across various regional and international issues. In such a context, synergy between Tehran and Tunis to create joint opportunities should be a priority."

He continued: "In recent years, significant steps have been taken in this regard, and numerous cultural delegations from Tunisia have visited Iran. Conversely, this has provided an opportunity for Iranian cultural and social groups to travel visa-free to Tunisia and familiarize themselves with the country’s capacities."

The Cultural Attaché added: "The visit of Dr. Araqchi to Tunisia marks another milestone in bilateral relations and demonstrates that the partnership can continue to move forward, entering a new golden era."
