Majority of Israelis distrust Netanyahu
Channel 12 of the Israeli regime published the results of a public opinion survey showing widespread distrust toward Netanyahu.
According to the findings, 58% of respondents said they do not believe Netanyahu’s claim that he was unaware of his media advisers’ coordination with Qatar. Only 27% said they believed him.
Meanwhile, 60% of participants said Israel should pursue a prisoner and body exchange deal to bring back all Israelis held in Gaza, while 31% supported a military operation to occupy the Gaza Strip.
Regarding military leadership, 60% of respondents described the performance of Herzi Halevi, the Chief of Staff of the Israeli army, as “generally good,” while 19% rated it as “poor.”
The poll comes at a time when indirect negotiations between Israel and Hamas remain stalled, and families of Israeli captives increasingly feel neglected and forgotten by Tel Aviv’s leadership.
