Deadly shooting in Minneapolis, U.S.
The shooting occurred during a morning service at a Catholic church and its school in the city’s southeast neighborhood, leaving more than 20 people injured and at least 3 dead.
Among the wounded, at least 14 people were shot; 4 of them are reported to be in critical condition and have been transferred to nearby hospitals.
The suspect remains at large, and there are concerns about a possible explosive device inside the building.
Local security forces responded, and Minneapolis police, the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, state troopers, and the FBI launched a large-scale operation to contain casualties.
Areas near the incident were evacuated, and residents were urged to avoid the vicinity.
Governor Tim Walz described the incident as a “horrific act of violence” and pledged to provide updates.
The situation remains unclear, and the suspect’s motive has not yet been determined.
