According to reports, Muhannad Jamal Aalyan, a player for Al-Jazeera Football Club in northern Gaza, was killed.
The Palestinian news agency Sama quoted sources as saying that the young Palestinian footballer was standing in line with other civilians waiting to receive humanitarian aid when Israeli forces struck the area, killing him.
Just recently, another former Palestinian footballer, Suleiman Obaid—known as the “Palestinian Pelé”—was also killed by Israeli gunfire while waiting in line for humanitarian aid in Gaza.
